Cable questions

I'm planning on putting different handlebars on my R3. Something a bit taller and more pullback. I'm thinking I'll probably need to change cables as well, but I'm not sure which.

I've seen posts and links to throttle cables. Check. I've seen posts and links to brake cables. Check that. What I haven't seen anyone mention is those electrical cables that can be found on either side of the bars. Will I have to do anything to make those longer? Will they stretch a fair amount without issue? I'm not looking at a big change in the dimensions in the bars. Maybe an extra inch or two.

I have little experience dealing with electrical wiring. It's the one thing about working on my bike that makes me hit the brakes.

i don't know what bars i have but you can gain a little by taking the wires out of the brackets on the forks and running them a little different.

That sounds right. It might just be enough for my needs.
