time for new pads (at least front) and I wanted to see what people are running. Also is it worth getting different or new rotors? My stock rotors are not in need of changing unless upgrades would help.
I use EBC Double HH Sintered pads which many others do also. Do not recall anyone switching to aftermarket rotors but I’m sure Brembo or someone else makes one. Not sure if its a cost effective mod or not.
The EBC pads are the way to go. Just make sure you do the recommended seating on them. But when you do, after the 10 hard stops don't go pulling into traffic right away. You will have heat related brake fade, no, you won't have any brakes (esp rear) until you ride a bit to cool them down.
As others have stated ebc and the proper bedding procedure and your good to go!
Aftermarket rotors are no better than stock, save your money for something more fun!!
Rotors are not necessary unless the OEMs have gone bad, so I agree with that other wiseguy from NJ - Save your spondolas for something more satisfying or pragmatic!
