Well darn, Brahma took a roundhouse blow from a workmate's Tahoe today. I got a call from one of the senior folks telling me he knocked the bike over. I thought he was joking but no. I looked down from my office window and saw Brahma fully laid out on his right side. I took a deep breath and headed down stairs.
As this guys was backing up, the front right fender just ahead of his tire hit the left pannier.
I see scratches on the lid and main box.
The right crash guards did their job and took most if the impact. But the bike did rotate all the way over onto the grip and brake lever.
I found one odd looking piece of metal broken off and searched till I found it came from the hinge on the right floorboard.
I didnt take a picture of Brahma laid out to save his dignity. But on that note, I bet the Tahoe's damage will be more expensive. The fender was pulled away and lots of plastic bits were laying about.
I'll search more in depth later but that's it for now.
Another reason to smile was comments I heard from the peanut gallery at how calm I seemed to be and how disappointed I didnt blow up...
