Brahma took a good punch today

Try handling pip claims in fl. Talk about corrupt

Uhhhhggg!

My Dad got me into the business because he was an old school auto adjuster back when they were not so corrupt.
At the end of his career they put him in the "comparative negligence" department. When he would tell a claimant that they would be held 25-30% at fault just for being on this planet, they would respond that they would be getting an attorney........ His response was: Ma'am/Sir, I don't blame ya    He was a good man

I was a liability adjuster so I dealt with that plenty where it got interesting was states like Alabama and nc with contributory negligence where if you have 1% negligence you cant collect

Holy broken purse strings Batman! $3,298 is the estimate the dealer just sent to the adjuster for repairs to Brahma.
This completely reinforces the idea that wrenching on your bike is the way to go. $906 of this is labor.
It will take a week to 10 days to get the parts though once the adjuster approves the work.

Almost all of the parts are replaced now with the exception on the pannier lid. I brought the old stuff home to see what I can make of them... (We think the lid is on either a sailboat or a row boat coming from the UK, but it's on the way...)
