I do not know if anybody has had the same idea but the stamped edge of the gas tank looks cheap on the R3 roadster triumph spent a bit more money on the tank of the bonneville and smoothed out the rough edges and it looks so much better so when time came to paint I filled in the bottom edge and front of the tank on my R3 and it looks indeed much smoother what do you think??

Not a roadie but they all have the crap edge.

Yes blended seam & painted yellow a few years ago.

Your right Scott it definately is faster now.

That tank fill actually looks real nice - once one gets around the John Deere paint.
I think about you every time I see news footage of the smoke bombers working on the Chelan and Omak area fires!
