BlueTooth OBD2 for Rocket on Droid

I use GPS hud pro for the speed and phone features - http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/travel_and_local/gps-hud-pro_lugz.html This is the app I use for the BlueTooth OBD2 - http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/communication/torque_flre.html This can be used for Hud as well but without the phone features. The sample rate for the Gps is something for me to check, do you know the suitable figures needed? The Torque app seems to only run by it's self but other apps like Trapster and music can run in the backgound.

Next question arising is what HUD app are you using?The droid could possibly play a race data logger role, will have to look for an external GPS bt sensor at a higher sample rate to make it usable. Can you recommend any? Would it work in the same time with the OBD2 acquisition interface?
