Blacked out the Roadster.

The clear lenses without amber bulbs sure look good. Smoked would look good too but I think the way you've done the rest of it, the clear looks better. Over here we'd get pulled up straight away for not having amber indicators. RTA here is even making people fit amber lenses to get a compliance cert - they have amber bulbs but still get knocked back.

looks awesome, been thinking of doing a little of this myself, the standard bike in matte black lends itself well to being 'murdered out'! especially like the black headlight housings.

slightly off topic, how accessible is the ignition when the flyscreen is installed, it looks like it's real tricky to get to no?

No problem getting at the ignition .. unless you've got gorilla hands in winter gloves.

I wanted the clearest I could get. I didn't even use the amber bulbs but left the clear bulbs in there. lol

They have a slight amber look to them while flashing at night.

I really like the clear on your bike. I think it looks better than what the smoke will look like now that I see your pics. I ordered the Smoke Lens set a couple days ago. I'll have to wait until I get them on and flashing to know if I'll keep them or not. I'm going to find a spot on the back-side for a set of red Stingerz to tie into the brake. These "flat" colored bikes tend to disappear from the cager's view on a dark rainy day.

Don't worry Dawg, smoke lenses are the best option with amber bulbs. I had clear ones and they just looked dirty so now have smoked and think it's a much better look. I like Mully's because you can't see the bulbs and it's a nice contrast to all the black.

I've had PlastiDip on the bearclaw and a few other pieces for about 2 years now and have been very happy with the results. Just applied to the headlight bowls this winter and looking at going after a few more pieces.

Busted the lower radiator shroud and picked up a used chrome one. PlastiDip and now it's black.

Looks real good Mully,
ALL of it.;)

Thanks

Alright.... another member that has used PlastiDip. Two years and still happy.... that sounds encouraging.

I take a 3XL glove and I have no problem with access to the ignition with my fly screen, gloves on.
