Basic modifications for performance?

they do look eye catching all chromed (blued) out dont they

Yes they do! A true performance exhaust.;)

You ought to hear them... like Gabriel's Horn and with similar results for those who might be beckoned to challenge their Siren's song. Much more menacing than they are loud.:D

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the ultimate engine upgrade available to the general public for any model R3, Carpenter Racing's 210 or 240 kits and their Brute exhaust system which has proven to be the #1 power making exhaust available to date:

Carpenter Racing

Their drag bike, which is essentially a stock Roadster with a few minor tweaks added to the 240 kit, recently ran a 9.03 quarter mile @ 157+ mph on 87 octane race gas, stock tire and no wheelie bar! Soon, it will blow right through the 9 second mark.

Or if living in Australia and the great Carpenter Racing is a little far Neville lush in victor harbour SA will get very similar results .

I got 100hp & 118 tq from a 95 c.i. 2004 lowrider it's in boxes in my garage 32,000 miles later, i wonder what performance gains do to the reliability of the R3?

60,000+ miles on my beast 40,000 with a Super charger and the last 10,000 with a bunch more power more then you can shake a stick at Steve I thrash mine regularly and she holds together just fine. I have more horse power in ione cylinder the that Low rider ever thought of so enjoy your beast :D
