Marty, do you reckon you could post a consolidated list of all the auction items so people can work out how much they might want to have with them for bidding. You might also get a few phone bids..... I presume you'd take them.

If you text me a fax number i can send you the items i have , if you want to go to the effort of posting them fine by me. I'm a very , very slow one finger typer mate.
 
Sunstate Motorcycles from Hervey Bay spun me out today. I asked Manager the other day for about the 20th time was he going to give us anything to auction off, kept reminding him of the great job T/C did with Sunstates opposition in Maroochydore.

Went to organise a new tyre to be fitted $25 fitting charge, new Metzler $370. Rick the manager in Hervey Bay says before you go Marty I need to talk to you.

Go to office hand shake, and Rick says that they appreciate what all of us are doing and then says I'll have a set of Metzler tyres for you to auction off.

Positive batteries the Alco battery distributor also gave 2 x $50 dollar vouchers to action either as 2 items or one, productive day I thought.

As soon as I get the list of what people have for the auction I will type it up and post
 
Deposited the $500 we decided to donate to the single mum burying he son after he suicided . Spoke with Grumpz and he told me the funeral costs were nearly $8000 , and that wasn't a flash funeral. The mother had to borrow the money from a finance company.

I did try to get another $250 from the $3300 that was raised at the RDU auction but Make A Wish Foundation had been informed of the amount raised by then. Marty told me they wanted proof in the way of Death Certificate and Reciepts for the funeral to release anymore money. I didn't bother .. if anyone that was not at RDU would like to help this woman out deposits can be made into the account above.. thanks.
 
Last i heard $1,000 had been donated ... know it's not really the done thing to give your hard earned to a stranger ... but this woman has found herself in a nightmare situation , loosing her son and now burdened with this huge debt. I can't imagine what she i going through , i'm very grateful that i don't ... hope that me and you never have to face a situation like this.
