Riding the South Island this Feb. Have they reopened the Kiakoura Highway from Blenhiem to Christchurch yet?

Due to be opened on the 15 December.

Not sure for how long though the government said it would be opened by this Xmas.

Hours I think are from 7am to 8.30 pm. subject to any more rock falls of course.

Are you coming for the Bert Munro Rally In Invercargill 8th till the 11th Feb?

I will going to it via the West Coast into Milford Sound and on to Invercargill on the 7th.

Leaking oil out of the o-ring from the oil tank replaced it but still no stopping the flow
even when just sitting with out motor running.

hopefully will be sorted tomorrow night, bloke who did the cam gasket is popping over to have a go at fixing it.
