Anyone have an opinion on Avon Grip quality?

No idea. I fitted Avons but not that model.

The grips I have come with "advice" from Avon to cut the end caps off if you need open ends. And it's what I did.
Fitted these Avon Metric Touring Custom Contour Anodized Motorcycle Grip , and very pleased with them I am.

I have Avons grips on my touring. I do not think you can use the bar end weights. One word of caution, do not get the Harley fitment as they do not work. get the Metric ones. Rocket one on the right, harley on left. Excellent people to deal with. Cheaper than Kuryaky.n
