Hello,
Has anyone worked up a rocket three with a sidecar setup, and gone all the way with racked trees, and everything to make it correct?
How does it ride?

Yes. The "furthest" one I've seen in the US is this one:

First LBS Boxer in the U.S.? - ADVrider

Picture reposted for non-members:

I have a rig (2005 standard with Champion Escort car) with standard steering (no mods) and just yesterday finished a 800 mile trip with my daughters and LOTS of gear.

This is mine:

With that motor, you can almost steer it with the throttle. Much easier to ride (for me) than the GL1000 rig it replaced and it had Unit leading link forks.

All that said, I'll probably send the trees to Steerite this winter. Easier is easier you know....

It really is a cool setup (and the owner is a member here....)

Here are some pics of Rocket rigs that I've run across, but know very little to nothing about:

There are some pretty wild front ends out there. I've not seen a hub centered setup yet for the Rocket. But anything is possible!

No association, but here are a few I've found:

Premier Sidecars Australia - The right sidecar for every bike

SRK Engineering | SideCars | Custom, Sidecar, Have, Projects, Double

Dusting Classic Motorcycle Sidecars

I'd also think most of the European biggie's have reps down under. Look at EML, EZS, Hedingham, and many many others.

It seems (to a Yank) that the sidecar culture is pretty strong in your part of the world. I'm sure someone more experienced will be right along to help you!

**edited to add, it looks likes the first two links are actually the same company. weird...
