Always on, lights off.

The point of the switch is to keep the headlight off when you turn the ignition switch on. The headlight doesn't have to go off when the starter button is pushed, saving a few watts of cranking power (at most). The real beauty of the toggle is when using a Tune downloader (Tuneboy, Tune ECU, et.al,), you don't have to pull the light fuse to prevent battery drain.

I recently installed a headlight/ignition switch by-pass made by DEcosse on the .net site. It works much better than the EB because DEcosse makes it with plug and play connectors. No splicing or searching for the right wires. He cane make it with an off switch or without as you prefer. I had mine made with the off switch. Very nice to have it.

Please post more info, IRR3. Not a member of the .net site. How much does it cost and can I order directly with DEcosse?

Thanks!
