Poker run was a hoot .. riding beside all these vintage bikes watching the owners gin around with advance and retards and whatever trying to squeeze a few extra mph out of them .. was excellent and i was surprised just how well the vintage bikes went .. and how well they sat on the road considering rigid frames and just about rigid front ends. Was a poker run with a difference that's for sure.

Sounds like a blast mate. Great pics. I've been logging some miles on a few (modern) classics lately and must say I've been loving it. I could live with a twin that's for sure.

Lusting for a Norton MK III (electric start for my f#cked knee) .. join in on the fun then. Speedies days in the shed may be numbered ;)

For me it's a toss up between a Scrambler and a Thruxton, although if a Norton was available I have no doubt I'd want one of them too. Even a humble Bonne would do nicely. The Scrambler I've been riding has the Arrow exhaust and looks and sounds fantastic. Brings a smile to my face like only the Rocket had before. The Thruxton has been a revaluation and a lot more comfortable riding position than I expected. It has pipes too and a real nice feel to it.

Meanwhile, the Rocket's not going well enough to be in love with right now and luckily not well enough to sell either. I'm told I can't afford nor fit a third bike in, but I'll wear her down........;)

Plenty of room in your garage mate .. got both our Rockets in there so one Rocket and two 'normal' bikes be a shoe in .. better not to bother Amanda with these things mate .. :D
