Air filter - King Dragon, are they well known?

I returned my JR filters today, not satisfied. I have triple KN this season and after that it's SC..
I took a look at King Dragon air filters that they had on the shelf in the store.
looks really good!

the most important difference, compared to KN and such is that the top is not plastic or chromed, it is filtered as well. this gives the filter a charachteristic flow almost like stackers, which really helps the dyno guy get better curves.

anyone knows about these filters and have tried them? I might put a biggie on the SC next year.

I'm having trouble finding a good website for Kingdragon, that's why I just blurted out the question at first...
anyway, this is a picture of a Kingdragon air filter. not suitable for us though.

the store I visited yesterday got more of them on the shelf. at least one of those would probably fit the blower.

this is a german site that at least looks official but I haven't found the translation button...

they are of the same kind like KN with similar performance.
what I like is the open top rather than plastic or chrome there. real good intake.
KN may have those at well of course, they have thousands of models...

Usually most of us tend to stick to KN, I presume. would be nice to be unique sometime! at least in the neighbourhood.

The K&N I and Perd's use is open top and has a good bell mouth in it. Tou can see light thru it when its clean. It was a noticeable difference in A/F ratio when I installed it.

The name sounds like they are made in China rather than Germany. "King Dragon" sounds like an unusual name for a German product, at least it does to me.

yes it sure does! makes it hard to find on the Internet. even movies have had that name..

Sound like the place I get dim-sum... Ever notice that almost every Chinese restaurant has one of the following words in it's name?
King, Dragon, Palace, Kitchen, Jade, Garden, Golden and Panda.

that is so true! you can even make up new restaurant names using the ones you mention. have you been to
Golden Dragon
Panda Palace
Dragon Garden
King Dragon :?
