Heres the first pic I got from the airbrush artist who’s doing the paint job on my ‘08 Roadster. I told him what colours I want (Canada’s flag colours, in HOK candy) and a central white stripe the length of the bike and his handiwork spread throughout. I think he’s got the tank right on for what I wanted so I told him to go ahead. He said he’ll send me each idea he gets and I can decide what appeals to me. Any of you who have had a custom paint job done for you will know the excitement you get. This is my very first and apparently I needed to get a Rocket to get the motivation. My carbon fibre hydrographed parts are arriving on Sat. so I’ll try to post pics as things come together and then in the end the whole bike.

Looking good, can't wait to see the whole bike, I'm considering getting a custom job too, hope to have my artist painter choosed before the winter sets in.

The red and white paints are being done by Konquer, and I've seen their work - impressive - but the fancy stuff is by Rick Evans who has a substantial reputation for doing great work. The future isn't written.

Honestly, after the years of riding with Navigator ( me on my Harley baggers and he on his Rocket) I always said "I want a Rocket some day"! and since it happened I have zero intention of parting with it, hence the custom paint.
