Been working actively on the pipes and my options are as below -
- continue with the ToRs and fabricate the Decat box myself. Spoke to the Staintune guys and they said their collector would do the job, so could order that instead of living with shoddy workmanship here. Should work if the Map for this combination should be available at TuneEcu. Remember reading somewhere that the TuneEcu doesn't work with the new Roadster models with the LCD screen, would check.
- Saw what looks like a full system at Denis Foran, would write to them and see if that works and if mapping is possible.
- have been corresponding with Bob Carpenter and have spoken to him a few times. He said he could ship his pipes across and would pre map a power commander and would send that along.
Didn't much care for the looks of the Jardine, and quite excited by the option offers by Bob, just a bit wary of the sound, was looking for a loud deep rumble, the YouTube videos are a bit more ear splitting with a fair bit of backfire. If anyone has those pipes on and say that it's not unpleasant to ride with, would go with that, no problems with the cops or neighbours or anything out here.
