So they've done it again, cut open a Rocket 3 so the tech nerds will get a boner

Seems to be a new attraction at the Hinckley factory tour?

Its hard to tell without more detail about the shaft the gears are on. The dog ring between 2nd and 3rd does not look undercut, but then its not as clear to pass judgement. Time will tell as they got miles on a bunch of them.

As has been said before, depending on the design, the angled gears may eliminate the need for back-cutting of the dogs.

But in 2 or 3 years, it will be outdated, and the 2023's will be 5000cc 7 cylinder nuclear assisted fuel pack. hahaha
