ooohhh!!!! aaahhh!! rode the ninja as well first 900 watercooled engine for kawa 1986 silver grey red and gold trim. . did hit 232 kph on the italian autostrada that summer ..once and for about a minute they were the days when foolishness was considered normal
rain gear were not my cup of tea then still is today and my daughter agreed with me on a recent trip

Mine was a 1985 and the engine was breathed on. Blue printed with milled slotted cam sprockets lobe centered.
Baby would peg its 180 mph speedo, no problema.
 
She looks like the Michelin Man's much better half, duke!
 

1983 Bootcamp... No bike for 18 months while going through training; made it much tougher...
 
How are you getting those old photos onto the computer Bruce , are you scanning them or some ***cin thing ? Make a great thread .. ' old days riding bikes'
