255 car tire on rear?

Has anyone installed a 255 car tire on their R3? Just wondering if it would rub, I have an '06.

Forget it. A 245 JUST clears the swing arm. Sort of......

I have a 245 and I see about a 1/4 inch clearance, which is more than 1/2 a cm, surely someone somewhere has tried it

I did, had to move rear wheel 6mm out of line, away from swingarm by reducing rear caliper bracket,
shimming bearings on spindle internally & shimming cush drive.
Definitely not worth the trouble.

Im actually looking forward to going back to a bike tire , just not doing enough riding to wear the DS out..............

2004 Had it from new.

I would recommend a 225/55. I am using a BFGoodrich as my first DS experience. No regrets yet.
