where do i find a bypass for the 2012 roadster???
am i better off with the bypass and offroad silencers or the jardine black full system?

The cats are in the silencers as far as I know for roadsters . Also staintune make a collector pipe . As for which is better I gues that is personal prefference

Black Jars would look good on a Roadster (I'm assuming is still painted in undercoat ). Plenty of alternatives that will give you more power and different sound. As Mitch says, personal preference really.

Welcome by the way.

jkeithsloan,
first off,
Welcome to the site and Rocket ownership.
jars can be loud, if you like that, and want to take your bike that direction.
Tors may be loud enough for you though, like has been said,
it all depends on what you like and want.

I have the Stain Tune cross over and the mufflers, I like the set up, improved performances with a tune to suit and the sound is very acceptable.

If the cat's are in the silencers for the roadster - then just installing the TOR's or a different exhaust would eliminate the CAT - correct? Is the staintune collector just a better free flowing alternative to the stock collector?

WELCOME INDEED!!! Ain't this R3R the ****h?!?!

I found the connector between header and two mufflers to be totally open inside. After pricing that crossover, I felt it was ridiculously overpriced. Although I believe that technically it likely has smoother air flow. I felt the difference would be minor and unnoticeable so, I went with the TORs. TORS are huge just like the stockers and suck as far as room for nappies. I will likely soon go with Jardines, even though I would prefer a 3 into 1 system.
Best Regards,

One other benefit with the Stain Tune system is the weight saving, I never did weigh the two systems but my guess is one standard Roadster muffler weighs as much as the complete Stain Tune system.
