FWIW...there appears to be a different tip over sensor in these new Rockets. Some of us already have had our earlier Rockets on their sides and then the bike wont start upon standing up until we go thru the sequence ..(cant recall it tho) to get the bike to start again.
I was told by my dealers mechanic these new generation Rockets have a ball bearing and needle sensor which rests the startup system if the bike has been on its side. On the earlier models, some riders have been on such a lean angle the sensor has caused the bike to 'hicup' as the sensor tells the ecu the bike is on such an angle it appears it is falling causing arse pucker...This new system should negate this.
I havnt had a problem when riding but i know my motor stopped when i went down the other day.

Mine didn't cut out when I dropped it the other night. When it was back upright I left it for a few minutes and it started ok, but the low fuel light stayed on for a good few minutes before it cleared.

Sure would be nice to get this reset sequence documented. Tal, let us know if you can get your dealer to detail it for you.

Pretty sure its something like ...stand the bike up, turn the ign on and off two or three times then start it. This is for the First gen Rockets,
