"service book was stamped" --> is it a thing? I know we have a lot of British members, is it a UK way?

It is/was a thing - though, increasingly now, many manufacturers are holding the records digitally.

In the UK most dealers do both. There will be a digital service record but I like to get the book stamped as well. If I sell the bike buyers will expect it.
