Neither inspiring nor unusual for preparing to make a record run.

Hope they sort out the Streamliner, but those track conditions sound awfully sketchy.
 
I note in the pictures there's shorts and tennis shoes in the shop area. Will not fly in my line of work. Long pants and 6 inch minimum boots with a definite heel.
 
I just read an attempt was made on Sunday again for the 300+ FIM qualifying run. The bike crossed a slippery wet patch fishtailed and fell over. Guy was uninjured but the bike is in question. No more attempts to be made until a thorough inspection is done.

Interstate 80 is just a few feet away from the track. Right near there I80 has a 29 mile straight. Close one side of I80 and do it there.

Many World Land Speed records have been done there as Bonneville is too short.
 
But what do you have under the pants to go with the 6" heels? ;);):eek::D
Ahem....six inches of leather going up, so as to cover and secure your ankles! The heels must be 1/4 inch or so, so you can hook your feet to ladder rungs.
