My R lll surges when I'm going at a steady speed between 25 and 45 mph. Any
ideas what would cause this issue, started just a few days ago, never had the problem before now. Only 7,499. Miles on the R lll.

Throttle position sensor?
Bad fuel?
Vacuum leak at the throttle bodies?
Coil leads?
Ignition switch?

That's a start:confused:

My bet is on bad fuel. I would run the tank out and then re fuel and see if it goes away. Take it out and run it up to red line in the first three gears to blow it out and see if you might have a piece of carbon in one of your spark plugs. Just a thought. If it's a stock ECU, try disconnecting your battery for an hour and then do the 12 minute tune.

No Mods at all, everything is original.

Well thanks for all your suggestions it makes sense to try the easiest fixes first.
From some other folks I've heard it usually boils down to a bad T.P.S. Right now it's not so severe yet. I can see where it Could become a safety concern if this worsens.
