I am getting the K&N triple filters setup from Flip.
My R3 Touring still has the stock exhaust and I do not plan on changing that for a while, at least until I can afford Jardines or something a bit louder.
Does anyone have a good tune from Tune ECU that I can use to give the bike a bit more...
I watched a video of a guy using and explaining the TuneECU program
on a Triumph Tiger 1050.
Answered a lot of questions.
Didn't explain everything about it, like the F & I tables,
didn't explain anything on the diagnostic end of it,
but quickly hit on enough of it to make it less intimidating...
When loading a new map into the ecu do I have to clear the map already in the ecu first or can I just load the new map straight into the ecu from my lap top.
I have already saved the existing map In the ecu onto my lap top, I am just not sure if I have the process right.

According to PCV this sits on the output side of the bikes ECU and modifies the signal to suit our requirements!
So if the PCV is adjusting the fuel flow what map should be in the bikes ECU?? a standard map ??

After an afternoon reading I have become very interested in using TuneEcu on my 06 model. But as I understand it, you need a 16 pin OBDII cable, so I was disappointed to see that my bike has the older Keihin 1 square style connectors.
Is there a different cable that I can buy or am I out of...
