Floorboards/Footboards on a Rocket

So, not to take over the thread, I started a standalone about my continuing attempt: Floorboards - attempt to have floorboards on the Rocket 3 GT from the available parts made for other motorcycles

Here are some pictures of the Mad Hornets floor boards I installed on my 2023 R3 GT. I also moved them back and extra inch by making a simple extension bracket. To make this work I had to posision the the shifter lever very high in order to have clearence under the floor board for the shifter movement. I needed a little extra room for my riding boot under the peg. But not as much as you see. I want to move the floorboards back another inch for a total of an extra 2 inches, but I still need to make an adapter for the shift linkage in order to do that. When I do, the shifter peg can come down a little closer to the floorboard. I also had to make small quarter inch thick spacer washers to move the boards out away from the standard position on the shifter side. If you mount the boards in either of the standard holes, they should work well without the extra mods I did. My mods were needed due to moving them back the extra inch or two. On the brake side I added the spacers for simitry. But also on the brake side since it is moved back an extra inch and soon to be 2 extra inches, I needed to install a small extension on the brake line. Look close at the brake side first picture.
