I work in Technology and AI has been taking over many aspects of my work life and the projects I have been working on. I decided to use Google Gemini to help me tune my suspension. I gave it a narrative of what I was feeling and went on a 15 minute ride where I would stop, give it feedback and it would give me adjustments here and there that were pretty interesting and counter to what I have been doing. I first gave it my weight and this video

It claimed there was errors in the video and we went from there. The result was the most perfect buttery suspension I have experienced. Made me fall in love with the bike all over again. It also recommended I drop 1-2 PSI on the Cobra Chromes to get rid of some micro vibrations at the end and it worked perfectly. It also said this would be not needed to do on the Metzler's because they have softer sidewalls.

Just thought I would share as the suspension has been the final piece I could never get quite right.

I used the 3.1 Pro Model with extended thinking. If you guys want some of the context it gave me happy to add it to my post.

Problem is that if you set it too smooth, then you'll go suddenly on a highway and you'll be jumping on every hole, for dear life holding on to the handlebars.

PS: In the video above, those 2 guys were doing things to the English language, unspeakable horrors.

Glad you got it sorted out. Proper suspension setup always makes the ride better.

I set my suspension to the settings Col and Zig suggested. They sucked out load for me. I'm 185 pounds. Since then I dialed it in better for my weight. I would like to know your weight and settings you used. Please advise.

I am 230 Pounds of Alberta Beef.

Front Forks:

Compression
(Left Fork, stamped "COMP"): 3 full turns out from zero.

Rebound (Right Fork, stamped "TEN"): 3 full turns out from zero.

Rear Shock:

Preload
(Left Side Handwheel): Turn fully counter-clockwise to find zero. Then, turn clockwise 10 to 12 clicks. (When riding with luggage, add 3 to 4 more clicks clockwise).

Rebound (Right Side, under plastic cover): 1.25 to 1.375 turns out from zero. (This is where we tightened it to stop the pogo effect, then backed it out just a hair to stop the micro-vibrations).

Compression (Bottom of shock, near linkage): 2.0 to 2.5 full turns out from zero.

Tires:

Rear Tire Pressure: Drop 1 to 2 PSI from the factory recommendation on your current Avon Cobra Chromes. (Return to factory spec when you switch to the Metzeler Cruisetecs).

@Ezayakyala : Thanks for sharing your settings, but I need a bit more detail... when you talk about "starting from zero," how do you establish that zero point? Screw fully closed or fully open? The Triumph documentation is pretty vague on this...
