I have been wanting to position my phone over my screen for some time now so I seen a post where someone just got an extrnsion for their quad lock to do it so I decided to give it a shot.
I had to wrap elecrrical tape around the bar a few times because it must be a little smaller where I have it clamped now. I dont keep the case on my phone perminently so I have no need to twist it off the mount so I don't have to worry about that.
The last image shows my old location. This new location should help a lot for when I'm using the maps. Should be getting my bt moto tuner tomorrow so I'll be updating that post soon.
