I have used this lift to bring the rear end up high enough to remove rear tire for many, many, many rear tire replacements on both of my Rockets since 2011.
See pix below . . . (please disregard the lift stands used at front to hold up the front wheel in the pix)
HTH?
How do you have this positioned? Is it just under the sump? Im a brand new rocket owner and trying to change both tires at once. Its a 05 if that helps. Thanks
1olbull is a pro, he lifts sump. Break all hardware on ground, lift till wheels barely touch, axles should come out like butter, raise secured bike roll wheels out, check bearings, if locked over torqued or whatever, change, reassembly spin wheels as you lock down calipers and axle, i go less than book on axle torque on my rides, if doing for someone i torque to doec but its gonna lock down bearings. Calipers off first, on last, thats a few things to think about while doing this job. I suggest cleaning calipers most hate too and dont but i digress good luck, plenty will help if you have questions.
