2005 Rocket 3
I have a 2005 Rocket 3, bought new. No issues except the instrument cluster goes dead every once in a while. The bike continues to run fine without the gauges. I found that if I stop and shut down the bike and restart, the gauges will start working again. This only happens every 5-6 hundred miles or so. Anyone else had this problem?

Welcome to the forum. I'm guessing the plug that connects to it isn't plugged in securely, or you have a bent or burnt pin in the connector. A bad connection will intermittently connect often. Just had this type of issue with the house wiring, discovered a plug that had the terminal screw tightened down on the insulation instead of the wire, had worked for years, then the plugs downstream started intermittently not working.
Also had this issue with my Touring, discovered a 6 pin plug under the tank had one burnt pin that had arced, bike started intermittently, replaced the pins in the connector, no more problem
