The tank can be smaller. Not sure what sits inside that tank but it's too big for 18 litres. It puts many off from buying it as it makes the whole bike seem intimidating!

Well to buttress your number one improvement I live in sunny Arizona and have already used the heated grips on my GT dozens of times. If my hands are the least bit chilly I pop on the heated grips feature, why not? Yep for the price the R should have them standard.

Love the heated grips on my GT.
Was gobsmacked to hear that they were not standard on the TFC!

Yeah,, funny things happen when big clumsy newbie fingers grope for the indicator switch and miss......

I find the indicator switch beyond awkward. And don’t start me on that heated grip switch...

The rear mud guard assembly on my R has proved to be pretty good at directing road spray up onto my pillions back.

Very disappointed with that.
