yep...go sit with him a while...might make him think and will earn you respect....especially if you don't do the "I told you so" on him...

I agree totally, if I remember correctly I went through a similar time with one of my son's, he wasn't injured it was just an ego thing. Not mentioning the incident gained me some respect from the fella and surprised him.

Hope he heals well sir. All the best wishes.

Your a Good Man @sonny, most of us that have survived a big Off (or two in my case three) can relate with this tale, only wish I had more positive mentoring instead of pep's telling me to give up riding which only made buy bigger each time!!

Yep I've had two accidents of note in my life.
One when I was 20, drunk, going fast, serves me right ! In hospital for 4 months.
Then a few just plain get offs of no major concern.
Then another about 3 years ago, ended up in Hospital for 8 days with three severed tendons on my left hand, major burn on my Left shoulder and a bit of gravel rash.
But, as I always say, "Ya can't kill weeds" so just carry on. :D

Good on you Sonny, but you let the cat outa the bag. I'm just trying to learn TIG! We'll get into it at a later date! Kid sounds like maybe he got some sense knocked into him.
