Wrecka living up to his name breaks sheit again

A couple of oil filters that fit are:
Purolator Pure One PL14612
Mobile M1-108

When you take the final drive off to lube the splines, undo the filler bolt and drain everything out. Then you can re-fill it with fresh oil when you put it back on the bike. This suggestion is for klutz's who break thing easily because the drain bolt will stuff things up if not put back correctly. ;)

Ok today i took on a few bike tasks.
Change rear drive oil , change engine oil and put new black iso grips on.

Obviously being the peanut i am i never RTFM so i emptied out the rear drive oil and it looked pretty rotten , anyway came time to refill is so not knowing what the hell i was doing i took to what i worked out to be the breather after i broke it with a set of multi grips, here's the end result

Finally worked out where the real filler was and temporarily fixed the breather using a rubber grommet as a cap.

Didnt have a triumph approved filter for the engine so i used this one thats for a Mazda RX7
, fits perfect although slightly bigger than OEM so chrome cover doesnt fit

Iso grips went on relatively easy except for the few colourful words i had to the return cable as i tried to get it seated on the throttle grip, no pics.
If that filter is from your vmax filter post and the threads and psi rating on the spring is the same then you should be ok, just account for the extra volume...
