What is Robinson's reason to not make these gears ?

He was not interested in a NDA / sole supplier arrangement, he basically wanted me to hand over the design and let him sell the kits directly to customers himself, is what I inferred.

After a while i even offered to do that, but under only one very reasonable condition, that i get the 1st kit as the prototype tester Guinea pig (you know, to verify it works ok and is reliable before selling to the general public) but i didn't get a response to this either.

What parts are you needing made? I will ask Peter with steam machines if he will cut them for you at what price? I will see him tomorrow as we are working on cylinder head modeling.

The cylinder head modeling will take months to get to cnc, hes doing this as hobby personal time, hes stretching the swing arm and drive shaft and a few other items on drag bike build, he loves triumph and race triumphs and is totally on board.

Timing chain. stock 367grams and 11mm wide. New chain 333grams and 10mm wide. just info thats all for the 2 people that might see

Borg warner seems to be a major player in moto world, they do moto gp, very similar to this new chain we now get from triump. the old chain looks just like the schnitz racing hayabusa chain with the exact markings and plate count as the oem chain im changing, not the same size ofcourse but definitely made in same factory, i wonder why ours dont come from there also still? But lighter, stronger, (better design) maybe. maybe not, this chain thing as far as manufacturers is interesting. Im gonna just order a lush racing 170 link chain that can hold 300. The morse on the chain in picture maybe is related to the m on the new chain.

Murdoch Racing Engineering, Jay has been in business 24 years and was not happy with hisself and his company. He went through a lot this year on top of covid, anyway Jay called Sunday to wrap this up and to tell me its shipped and to collect. He would only charge 319. He said he would not could not charge for job, i told him i know this is a third. Jay has agreed to do a full auto build for drag bike and looks forward to doing it the way that MRE built its business on.
