For what its worth I have a pretty clean record etc minor infringements, (wont go there) but it takes a few years to get a good insurance record. I pay $427.46 per year fully comp for the Rock and thats with Shannons but I have had a number of bikes with them over the years and still have a couple of others with them. Covers helmets, jackets etc etc usual stuff. Melb pricing here. It also depends on what kind of policy you want so get pricing from as many as you can .Very happy with them so far.

sorry on the i phone bloody stries to correct you if not carefull it has you saying all sort of things when you have big fingers) in a rush a very tired last night had to udate my first aid Yesterday so only got 3 hours sleep, big sleep comming up today and that is Shannons

QBE only paid me a percentage for my riding gear when i crashed. The ambo's cut all my riding gear off , thought i had a broken back. QBE wouldn't pay out on a Drizabone or a Windstopper jacket that i had on. It was freezing cold and raining when i came off. They will only cover ' motorcycle specific' gear. By the time they depreciated by how long ago i bought the gear i got a cheque for $130. Ambo's cut over $1,000 worth of gear off me... Read the fine print of your policy.

I went with Shannons for the second year, $425, no claims, agreed value of $21000 I think.
