WHICH MOTOR OIL ............?????

Hey guys
Just a general tech question about the type of motor oil people are using in their two wheel beast's these days.

What type ?
Viscosity ?
Do you notice a difference between changes on what type you use?

Cant see how you can go wrong by using what grade Triumph recommend - the brand is basically down to personal preference.

All I would add is cost should not be an issue, saving a few dollars/pounds/euro's on what is an engines life blood doesn't make sense, IMHO.
 
I'll be using a JASO MA2 fully synt 10w40 once I do my own servicing after the warranty is up...same as I use in the KTM....probably Shell Advanced @ £50 / 8L

And I'll likely change the oil more often than recommended, based more around my usage and time of year than mileage. Nice fresh oil and filter after winter is over for the spring
