Where are all you Harley Haters on this one..

I have been riding long enough to remember when if you didn't ride a Harley and you were on a Jap bike or another bike you just weren't one of the crowd. Harley riders never waved to a guy on a Jap bike. It was just not proper. I have rode Jap bikes Harleys and now a Rocket. I don't hate Harleys either and yes the japs and triumph might be stealing some designs to copy Harleys. Its ok by me let them copy all day long. Its to bad though that some of these companies don't copy the dealer net work that the Japs and Harley have. At least you can find a halfway decent Jap or Harley dealer to work on your bike. I wish some of these other companies would also copy the dealer network. Hint hint Triumph. Al

Just to remain on topic:
I don't hate Harleys.
Now, with that out of the way . . .
When the young family man has to sell the B-King let me know - I could do maybe 50 to 100 miles on one.
:roll::roll::roll:
The B KING is one of the ugliest bikes ever made and not comfy either

I like cars with fins.

The Victory Vision is VERY fun bike to ride and has a lot of "out of the box" design features. It also doesn't sell very well.

Fun isn't a word that springs to mind with the Vision. I believe they ride OK but the reason they don't sell is that they're one of the stupidest looking bikes ever made - along with the Honda DN-01 and Harley boat tail. And that new cut down GoldWing thing.

The RK vs T-bird is exactly what I rode before buying the R3T. I have since rode the T-bird Commander and must say there is nothing on the RK that I like better than the T-bird. The feel of the T-bird is ever bit as comfy as the RK, and the power is far better on the T-bird.
The Commander and the LT both share much with the R3T so it looks like Triumph is cutting manufacturing cost by having so many interchangable parts. The bug eyes on the storm are the same as the dual headlights on the other Rockets.
I was very close to buying the RK: till I rode the Triumphs...

:sick:I agree on the looks 100%.

While waiting on a test ride for a Cross country tour, the dealer handed me the keys to a Vision. I had a blast.

The thing has a 29 deg rake which makes it turn in a lot faster than anything I had ridden at the time.
There was very little input required to start or hold a lean and I was taking curves much faster than I could on any of the cruisers I had been on.

I enjoyed the bike, but don't think I could have looked at it in my garage day after day.

When I'm out on my vrod harley riders don't wave cos it's not a proper one ,Japanese riders don't wave cos it's a harley, when on my rocket there not sure what's happening and I don't give a crap, I like both my bikes very much both a bit different.

It's funny how things differ regionally...When I ride around CO most everyone on a cruiser waves no mater they're riding, odds are good that sport and street bike riders will return the favor (though they have the highest percentage of ignoring me), and ADV riders just seem confused by the exchange.
