My take was he didn't actually consciously move to the right, more just drifted that direction, which was, as you say unfotunatel same direction it moved- certainly it was far from an evasive 'swerve' in true definition
 
My O/P was to point out that inspite of all the failures that you Capt's mentioned: following a loaded cannon, too close, questionable manuevers, improper dress code, ect, His guardian angel was working overtime - I know some don't agree and I respect that. JMO
 
Nice PLF! Rolling beats sliding any day. I would never ride behind that setup, I always get out of the way of vehicles with stuff tied on. The boat owner never knew what happened they just found the pad gone at the next stop. Idiots.

I'm glad the kid is ok and the owners of the slide claimed responsibility. **** could have ended far worse.
