Whats missing?

Bypass filters filter a small amount of the oil more completely.
The main filter can't remove very small crud particles because it would slow oil flow too much and cause starvation.
The bypass setup filters a small percentage more completely, eventually cleaning all the oil better.

Thats were you mount your bypassfilter

in your spare time u might want to run the hose over the filter so something does not grab a hold of it.

I might but its over the engine as it is even though it doesnt show in the picture.

Had a plug in mine, and one popped out on the right side. What the H ! I took the other off now the bike is well balanced.
