What jacks are we using to get these things off the ground?

I use a J&S jack. They went out of business but it looks like this and there are other manufacturers which are similar.

Yep, that’s the type that I use. Works fine.

So I ended up ordering just a cheaper flat top scissor jack just to get my front end off the ground actually worked pretty good, I tightened up my steering head and checked the bearings everything is all good and after torquing to spec and taking it on a ride the wobble is completely gone I can let go at 75 and it tracks straight and the handling in the corners is so much better.
I've found my flat bed scissor jack to be far more practical and less time consuming for most of my maintenance, parts swapping and cleaning/polishing jobs than my full blown bike lift.
