Can anyone that has mounted the Weapon-R overflow bottle to their left side downtube perhaps share a closeup pic of how it is mounted? The "T" bracket it comes with is really bulky, and I am trying to figure a way to install it.

I don't have it mounted to the downtube. It is mounted to the crash bar now but I used to have it mounted on the radiator screen just behind the radiator.

I'll take a pic tomorrow and upload.

I got some nice chrome P-Clamps (1 1/4") from a local fabricating shop.

Got some slightly longer bolts to make up for the extra 1/4" from the P-Clamp..

The bolts threaded right through the wall of the Weapon-R can, causing it to leak viciously all over the floor and bike.

What a POS. For the price I expect the walls of the Weapon-R can to at least PRETEND to be sturdy. It's like the spot they welded the screw threads onto was critically weakened by the process, bolts cut into the can like butter.

Waste of money. :(:(:(
Now I'm out 55 for the can, and 60 wasted on the hard-chromed P-Clamps. How lame.

radiator puke tank options.

hey guys, i'm into streetrods, and you can get just about any size of stainless puke tank for 50 to 70 bucks, and they include the billet threaded top cap also. i'm also considering this myself, and have a spare set of highway pegs so i have the mounts for those. they look like something of quality like the footpegs came from rivco, but i know they fit the crash bars great and wouldn't look dumb. you can get into ebay and find all sorts of stainless puke tanks for the radiators as they're used a lot in the world of streetrodding. they also have two tabs welded to the side so you can mount them without using hardware store "P"clamps. just a thought.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I had reused the two small bolts that came with the tank. Just removed the mount strap and put the bolts through the rubberized p-clamps.
