I am interested in what wax most of you use. I am currently using ice but, I think I may switch to a paste.

I only want to wax it once a year. I would rather be riding then polishing.

SPRAY the whole bike with LEMON PLEDGE and I mean every thing including the engine wheels windsheild everything thats all youll ever need and its easy and fast and leaves a protective coating Try it youll like it

I use ZYMOL cleaner and wax on painted surfaces. It is good stuff no swirls in the finished product. Use some stuff sold by Harley Davidson for the blacked out parts that last for a long time and will not add a shine to the blacked out components. Then again if you like fruity smells use LEMON PLEDGE.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

If you only want to deal with it once a year, try a sealant rather than a wax. Sealants will last much longer than wax. Personally I like Duragloss 105. If you want it to last longer use Duragloss 601 bonding agent first and you should be good for 6 months to a year depending on exposure to the wost of the elements. Duragloss is cheaper than most and considered by many detailers as the best bang for the buck. Check the Amazon reviews.

THE problem is everytime you ride the bike it gets dirty and you have toget all that crap off the sealants are a waste of time PLEDGE icleans and waxes at the same time and its fast and easy forget the super wax its not the right stuff for the job

The lemon does attract bees and wasps sometimes

ACTUALLY if you look into it they use the LEMON smell to repel mice spiders and a host of other little and big critters and insects etc
I've never had an issue other than observation at the attraction. I thought they wanted my roadkill... Folks have mentioned the apparent attraction. I just don't want another in my helmet again. But that was just trajectory
