warranty

When I bought my bike last Sept. my dealer didnot offer an extended warranty is this common. The only reason I'm asking is my wife just bought a Honda and they gave her a warranty for 5 years and all up keeps for the life of the loans and it inclides tires and oil changes. It only cost an extra 750. Have you guys and gals ever heard Triumph offering extended warrantys. I also have notice you guys and gals talking of things breaking down after warranty runs out.

Triumph doesn't offer extended warranties. Most dealers that offer them are through third parties.
