Warning - Viking Bags

wow, what crap.
thats why im very leery of ordering products online from places.
youre basically at their mercy.
i ordered my son an airsoft rifle and it stopped working the first day.
had to ship it back at my expense and i was charged a restocking fee.
i offered to buy a more expensive rifle if they would waive the restocking fee.but NO.
on a DEFECTIVE item.
needless to say i bought somewhere else.
the point is that you are at their mercy.
always try to deal with places you know or know of.

I buy some stuff online but i always check the feedback on the site, had good luck so far:)

A friend of mine has a leather shop he had real good luck for about two years then one of his suppliers got bought out, one week the orders would be on time the next week they would try to charge him full retail. then it got to where you never knew what brand of leather product you would get. He has decided to give it up he discovered he could go down 70 miles to a big fleamarket and bye the same brands for cheaper than he was playing host sale now figure that out

That part is all my fault. I found the bags, they looked good and the price was great so I didn't do my due diligence and got burned.

I don't in any way excuse they way they have treated me or others, but I have to accept that I got myself into this situation.

That being said, I've been doing more digging and I'm thinking that 'they' are actually a one-man dropship operation. Looking again at the 'About us' page they have with the pictures of their impressive-looking operation it's now pretty obvious that it's been photoshopped. I tracked down their actual address and googled it and it's just a house, so make of that what you will.

If it is just one guy, that would explain why the owner or president that makes the decisions that have pissed everyone off is never available and the guy on the phone can play the 'just the messenger' card.

Oh, also, if you do a google search for "Viking Bags" this thread is coming up in about 5th spot on page one!

The way google ranks search results is by how many people choose a certain link. If you google it and pick the one to this thread it will stay on page 1. (I'd love to pass them!)

This is getting picked up and shared on other forums and all over the place. I've even had a few emails from the consumer advocate for Global News here, unfortunately saying that there's not much he can do for me, but that he can run a story of the fight if I get it resolved.:)

Google continues to search and rank the forum according to content. So the more Viking Bags is mentioned in the thread the higher it will rank on google. Plus check out the tags at the bottom of the thread.

EDGE bags are the same thing and the EDGE company is great to work with.
I had 103XL's with EZ Brackets on my R3 and it was the perfect set-up. On and off in 5 seconds, very stable, looked good, and all that.
