WANTED 2012 Touring Side Panel

I lost an R3T left side panel last night, need a replacement if anyone has one spare.

Triumph part number - T2307221PG

Jet black but colour not an issue, happy to get it painted.

Please let me know asap, Triumph want an arm and a leg for a genuine "new" part IF they can get one.

Try eBay,when you find a replacement drill a hole in it and along tie wrap to the frame.

+1 on the tie wraps - this is a design weakness of the Touring.

Thanks for advice. Found one on ebay. Painted to match and fitted. Just need to tie wrap it now. Any pics how you did yours please. Want to keep it subtle and not too obvious.

The side panel has a single post sort of in the middle - it is "C"-shaped in cross section.

Just put a 7/32" drill bit in your drill, and eye-ball the mid-point of that post, careful to control the bit from walking -- and drill the hole.

I took two long wire ties, put them together to to make one extra long tie, ran the thin end through the drilled hole, put the cover up close to the bike, connected the other two ends around the frame behind the cover, and finish putting on the cover. Done.

Ever after, for most activities at least, just remove the cover, and let it hang from the wire ties. Only once have I needed to remove the ties completely.
