Sorry guys for my outburst, but this is soooo old. So, at this point we can all look forward to seeing our friend Art next wednsday? That should be a hoot.
I was serious about the challenge, even though he's looking for a ficticious "stage 1" engine to run the V twin.
Thats a phrase used by tuners like trip for what THEY are working on themselvs. Video games picked it up for upgrades to your car,bike,whatever. Try walking into a parts store and ask for a "stage 1" turbo or super charger .... they'll look at you and laugh.

Tuners use the phrase loosly, anyone who describes his engine that way doesn't have a clue. Now, used correctly it's "I'm running (Tripps) stage 1 setup", Trip could elaborate but it's his setup, not a label on a box.

Ive read this complete post and the first mud thrown was by you! Not Art! Its like the other night when Art told a guy who was going Dark to lube his splines at 8k and you snapped when 8 K is about typical MC replacement range more if your Flip so all Art did was give some advice on saving his spines as a CT would 20K+ if he waits that long he will be looking for a rear end off pinwall or worse buying a over priced one from Triumph. And hell he did not even give the guy **** for going Dark in fact he said nothing negative about Dark side at all in that post. If you don't believe in lubricating your your splines don't what do I care if you have to spend a bucket load of money for repairs its on you as very few pieces of equipment die of over lubrication.
If I were this site managers I would worry more about the threats they let you post on here without doing anything about it then, Art talking about some dude with a M109 that thinks he can beat up on us Rocket Owners.

Forget it this is a waste of my time!!!

So you condone giving advice that's wrong, not in the manual, and making it sound like the gods honest truth? Thats fine, just expect someone to call you on it. Besides the fact that Art has been giving advice for two years without so much as owning the bike, his attacks are more than obvious. I'm not one to start a fight, but I can be an ass when provoked. Believe me when I tell you I let the stick poke me more than a few times before getting mad, and I'm not alone there. I fully expected to be asked to leave here as well, but pushed to the limit by one stalker is not why I'm here. Yes, the threads you mentioned were not our finest hour, but if you kept up with all of it, I think you might have a different opinion. Prior to getting into it with him, I took the time to go back and read everthing Art's ever written. It's nearly all negative, the rest are lies. You want that here? I suppose you can contact the moderators and webmaster in his defense, may I suggest some research first? I'm rolling on the floor with him because I came in defense of others he was taunting, now his focus was on me. Our fight escalated due to his following me around making snyde remarks, some called him on his nonsense and others on his stalking. They were both good reasons in my opinion to confront him. If you feel different, thats your right.

Don't drag me into it. My milepost 56 post was a joke. It was originally posted (by Hellfire in another thread) as milepost 98 and then Molinoman said we (we Florida fellas) should go to milepost 56 because it's closer. I don't even know where milepost 98 is, or 56 for that matter. I just got a chuckle out of Art, IMTOOFAST, or whatever other names he goes by and Hellfire going at it.

Finally, I don't even own a Rocket (used to own one). Thus, I don't care who wants to race against one, or what bike they want to use to race the Rocket.

p.s. I am riding to Georgia tomorrow so I guess I'll see if I see a milepost 98 or 56 along the way. If I do, I'll look to see if any of you are there duking it out. If you are, I'll fling a bandage at you as I scream by at exactly 5 over the posted legal speed (can't deny the wimmins a chance to see my pretty face) so you can cover your ugly, bloody mugs.

There is also more to this than what you have seen on the forum. Art was pm'ing me complaining about his treatment by others, then he would go out and instigate. He was cautioned several times not to poke sticks at wild animals in cages, but he kept coming back for more. Sorry but all of the comments and "threats" you quoted came after continuous badgering by him to those other members. I don't have a problem backing a regular here.

To see what he is all about all you have to do is google his user name and see how many different motorcycle forums that he has done the exact same thing.
