valve clearances

so is there a kit with an assortment of shims available when its time to check clearances. i have a 31000 mile r3t that i have no history on. i found a previous owners registration receipt tucked away in the panniers and thought it reach out to get any info, which could be awkward.

You can buy shim kits but unless you're a garage doing bikes all the time it's just a waste of money.
Better to check your clearances, say in the winter, and IF they're off then calculate and only order the ones you need.
You might even get them for free if a captain on here has them spare.
