Unhook Rear Fender Electrical

I am going to have my 09 RC3 repainted so I have started taking off the rear fender. I have taken all the bolts and screws out now I have to figure out the best way to unhook the wiring. It looks like there are four wire bundles going under the fender. What is the best way to approach unhooking the wiring?

I was just looking at this for installing the Rivco plate bracket. You can probably unhook the wires from under the right side cover and pull them off with the fender. Then take them off.

But I'm a newbie and just guessing.

Had mine off awhile ago.
Plug joiners are behind the RH side cover (as friarjohn said) above the ECU.
All different plug blocks except for the indicators. Slip a bit of coloured electrical tape onto one of the indicator wires (both sides of the junction) so you can identify them later and unplug em all.

They just feed back down under the plastic splash guard and then the whole guard can be removed with everything still attached.
