Has anyone had a problem with left brake caliper eating pads. Bikes only done 7000 miles and I'm about to put in third set of pads. The outer pad has about half left but inner pad is down to near metal, again. Was wondering if it could be an ABS fault.
Right hand brake pads are perfect
Has been into dealer and they found nothing.
Also front tyre has worn down unevenly and quicker than previous Rockets. Normally got 8500 miles and that was hard riding.
Anyone got any ideas

Don't care what your dealer says there is an issue there whether it is the right hand not coming in properly ( piston sticking) or your left is not returning properly and dragging.3 sets of pads in 7,000 mile is unheard of infact that is ridiculous.
go to a brake specialist and ask their advice

just a thought could someone put the front spacers on the wrong side? if the rotor is not harden correct or is scored up that might do it. front rotor warped.

Thanks guys. Have heard a scraping/rubbing noise as you push it.
Herman thanks. I don't think it's the spacers as they are totally different with the Roadster, due the ABS set up. It could be a warped disc. It's still under warranty, so it's going back in to dealer. See what happens this time.
Cheers Pete.

Doubt it's a warped disc. Sounds more like a calliper not returning all the way. Happened a little to mine on one side before. Good clean out and/or maybe a (very) little grease on the pins should fix it.

Oh, and find a new dealer.

Warped disc would shudder when braking. I say its the caliper applying unequal pressure to the pads.

Tyres do where unevenly on cambered roads.
